House Bill 1282

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION, ACTING ON BEHALF OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, TO ACCEPT AND RECEIVE FROM THE TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY ALL RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST IN AND TO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND ANY IMPROVEMENTS THEREON LOCATED IN TISHOMINGO COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Department of Finance and Administration, acting on behalf of the State of Mississippi, is authorized to accept and receive from the Tennessee Valley Authority all right, title and interest in and to certain real property and any improvements thereon located in Tishomingo County, Mississippi.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
