House Bill 1341

AN ACT TO REQUIRE ANY COURT THAT REQUIRES ELECTRONIC FILING TO PROVIDE A COMPUTER AND SCANNER FOR PUBLIC USE AT THE COURTHOUSE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  Any court that requires electronic filing shall provide a computer and scanner for public use free of charge at the courthouse or other facility where the court may be located.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2012.
