House Bill 1431
AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTION 27-17-415, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH PROVIDES A FEE UPON EVERY PERSON SELLING PISTOLS, DIRK KNIVES, SWORD CANES, BRASS OR METALLIC KNUCKLES, OR OTHER DEADLY WEAPONS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Section 27-17-415, Mississippi Code of 1972, which provides a fee upon every person selling pistols, dirk knives, sword canes, brass or metallic knuckles, or other deadly weapons, is repealed.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2017.
