House Bill 1535

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF SUNFLOWER COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO DELTA ADVANTAGE CENTER; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Sunflower County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute an amount not to exceed Eighteen Thousand Dollars ($18,000.00) annually, out of any available funds of the county, to Delta Advantage Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that connects residents of the Mississippi Delta to needed human services and food distribution.

     (2)  This section shall be repealed from and after July

1, 2026.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
