AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF VICKSBURG, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE HERITAGE GUILD OF VICKSBURG AND WARREN COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The governing authorities of the City of Vicksburg, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to contribute annually from its general funds an amount not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) to the Heritage Guild of Vicksburg and Warren County, a nonprofit corporation that restores and preserves historical properties.

     (2)  This section shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2022.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
