House Bill 1545

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF DESOTO COUNTY TO CONTRIBUTE ANNUALLY TO THE MEMPHIS CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Desoto County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute from any available funds an amount not to exceed Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($65,000.00) annually to the Memphis Child Advocacy Center.

     (2)  The provisions of this section shall be repealed on July 1, 2014.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
