House Bill 1653

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LOWNDES COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONSTRUCT A MULTI-PURPOSE HORSE/LIVESTOCK PAVILION/ARENA WHICH SHALL BE UTILIZED AS A PUBLIC FACILITY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Lowndes County Board of Supervisors, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to construct a multi-purpose horse/livestock pavilion/arena and its necessary appurtenances, which shall be utilized as a public facility, on the south side of U.S. Highway 82 on property that is owned and that shall be donated by the Columbus Lowndes County Economic Development Link.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
