House Bill 1695
AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARSHALL COUNTY TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS ANNUALLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING SUPPORT TO NEW HOPE VILLAGE, A SHELTER FOR THE HOMELESS OF MARSHALL COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, in its discretion, may contribute an amount not to exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) annually, from any available funds of the county, for the purpose of providing support to New Hope Village in its efforts to provide a shelter for the benefit of displaced or homeless individuals in the county.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
