House Bill 1700
AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF RANKIN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO PROVIDE RECREATIONAL GRANTS TO CERTAIN QUALIFYING ENTITIES THAT SERVE SCHOOL-AGED YOUTH AND OTHER INDIVIDUALS OF THE COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Rankin County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may provide recreational grants to qualifying entities who have limited funds available to accomplish the goals associated with the charters of such entities and that serve the recreational needs of primarily school-aged youth and other individuals in Rankin County.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
