House Bill 1781

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF BOLIVAR COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE BOLIVAR COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Bolivar County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute annually during calendar years 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, out of any available funds of the county, an amount not to exceed Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00) to the Bolivar County Community Action Agency, Inc., for the purpose of assisting the agency with the operation of its programs that serve the public interest of the county.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
