AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF NESHOBA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO PHILADELPHIA TRANSIT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. (1) The Board of Supervisors of Neshoba County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) annually, out of any available funds of the county, to Philadelphia Transit, which is a nonprofit organization that provides transportation for the general public, elderly and disabled citizens within the county.
(2) This section shall be repealed from and after July
1, 2027.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
