House Bill 1869

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARSHALL COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE BYHALIA AREA ARTS COUNCIL; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute an amount not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) per fiscal year, beginning in fiscal year 2022-2023 and ending no later than the end of fiscal year 2023-2024, for the purpose of providing support to the Byhalia Area Arts Council in its efforts to enhance and promote cultural art awareness and opportunities for all residents throughout the county.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
