AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTIONS 37-13-191 THROUGH 37-13-195, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH CREATE THE CIVIL RIGHTS EDUCATION COMMISSION AND AUTHORIZE CIVIL RIGHTS AND HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Sections 37-13-191, 37-13-193 and 37-13-195, Mississippi Code of 1972, which create the Civil Rights Education Commission and authorize civil rights and human rights education in public schools, are repealed.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2011.
