AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTION 63-17-171, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH LEVIES A FIFTY DOLLAR FEE ON THE RETAIL SALES OF ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLES AND MOTORCYCLES FOR DEPOSIT INTO THE MISSISSIPPI TRAUMA CARE SYSTEMS FUND; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Section 63-17-171, Mississippi Code of 1972, which levies a Fifty Dollar ($50.00) fee on the retail sales of all-terrain vehicles and motorcycles for deposit into the Mississippi Trauma Care Systems Fund, is repealed.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2017.
