House Bill 819
AN ACT TO PROVIDE A PENALTY FOR PERSONS CONVICTED OF DRIVING AN ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE ON A PUBLIC HIGHWAY, ROAD OR STREET; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to drive an all-terrain vehicle on a public highway, road or street. Any person violating this provision shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) per offense.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2010.
