WHEREAS, Kaylee Foster, a phenomenal young woman from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and an inspiration to young girls throughout the Magnolia State and the United States of America, made history when she became the first female to win homecoming queen at Ocean Springs High School and, later that same night, to kick the game-winning extra point for the Greyhounds overtime win against George County High School; and

WHEREAS, since winning both homecoming queen and the homecoming football game, Kaylee has received an outpouring of support from around the country, but she has accepted her new fame with grace and humility and hopes that through her success, other young girls will know that it is okay to be who you want to be, regardless of what other people think; and
WHEREAS, in addition to her important role on the football field, Kaylee is also a standout for the Ocean Springs Girls Soccer Team and has verbally committed to joining the squad at Mississippi College, where she plans to study accounting; and
WHEREAS, Kaylee has truly expanded the horizons for women and young girls everywhere, and throughout her football career, she has received unwavering support from her friends and family as well as the other members of her team, who respect the competitor inside of her and look to her as a leader on the team; and
