WHEREAS, in addition to caring for children, Mrs. Dexter, who loves flowers very much, has always had a big garden full of beautiful, colorful blooms, much to her son's dismay, as her intricate garden designs and flower beds make it very difficult for him to mow the yard; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Dexter has always cared deeply for the needs of those around her and truly is a community treasure, earning the love and respect of every person who has had the opportunity to meet her and experience her greatness; and
WHEREAS, the only thing stronger than Mrs. Dexter is Mrs. Dexter's faith in God, and during the past century, through her faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, she has survived the Great Depression, the pandemic, cancer, and raising her children and a lot of other children in Iuka, and through it all, she has remained an inspiration to her family and friends, as her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren love her tremendously and revere her as the wonderful mother and grandmother she truly is; and
