A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING THE SOUTH PANOLA HIGH SCHOOL JUNIOR VARSITY CHEERLEADERS UPON WINNING THE MISSISSIPPI HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATION (MHSAA) GAME DAY CHEER DIVISION STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE.
WHEREAS, the exuberant South Panola High School Junior Varsity Cheerleaders have energetically and buoyantly cheered their team to win the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Game Day Cheer championship state title; and
WHEREAS, these amazingly fierce cheerleaders have been led by four amazing, hard-working and dedicated coaches Mary Booth, Sara Helen Ware, Tori Beth Jenkins and Aerial Sanford whose leadership help to shape the teams execution and style; and
WHEREAS, the team's illustrious senior captains led the team to this championship with integrity and fortitude; and
WHEREAS, after having a successful competition season in which the team worked extremely hard with precision and accuracy, the South Panola High School Junior Varsity Cheerleaders have enjoyed cheering on their varsity teams; and
WHEREAS, the members of this winning cheer team include: Alaina Brooke Masterson, Alycia Robertson, Lyla Kate Burkes, Hanna Talley, Katie Daniel, Aubrey Morris, Taniyah Willingham, Amiyah Farmer, Lela Sanford, Adie Ware, Maggey Austin, McKenzie Blackburn, Melanie Cannon, Raimah Poole, Molly Herron, Alyssia Burnette, Anna Kate Gatlin, Emma Grace Moore, Destiny Thompson, Braydee Claire Little, Adilyn Cole, Cheyenne Morgan, Graylee Gentry, Khloe Sneed, Mari Preslee Helms, Peyton Nicholson and Brooke Copeland; and
WHEREAS, it is most appropriate to commend outstanding student-athletes such as the South Panola High School Junior Varsity Cheerleaders, whose execution, positive attitudes and accolades bring great honor to their schools and families:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby commend and congratulate the South Panola High School Junior Varsity Cheerleaders upon winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association's Game Day Cheer state championship title.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to Coach Mary Booth, Coach Sara Helen Ware, Coach Tori Beth Jenkins, Coach Aerial Sanford, the principal of South Panola High School and to the members of the Capitol Press Corps.
