AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE DESOTO COUNTY REGIONAL UTILITY AUTHORITY OF DESOTO COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE THE FUNDS REQUIRED FOR MEMBERSHIP TO THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND/OR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS LOCATED IN THE STATE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The DeSoto County Regional Utility Authority of Desoto County, Mississippi, shall have the authority to, in its discretion, contribute the funds required for membership to the Chamber of Commerce located in DeSoto County and/or economic development organizations located in the state.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
