Senate Bill 2354

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE HATTIESBURG DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, are authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to annually contribute through calendar year 2015 an amount not to exceed Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) from any available municipal funds to the Hattiesburg Downtown Association, Inc. in support of its effort to promote the growth, prosperity, development and revitalization of downtown Hattiesburg.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
