AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO INTERFAITH COMPASSION MINISTRIES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Lafayette County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute money from any available funds to Interfaith Compassion Ministries in an amount not to exceed Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) per fiscal year, upon such terms the board deems to be in the best interest of the county.

     (2)  This section shall be repealed from and after December 31, 2022.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
