AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 18 OF HOUSE BILL NO. 211 (2010 REGULAR SESSION) TO CHANGE THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE BILL REENACTING THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND THE STATE BOARD OF HEALTH; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  Section 18 of House Bill No. 211 (2010 Regular Session) is amended to read as follows:

     Section 18.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after May 1, 2010.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
