Senate Concurrent Resolution 508
A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE JOINT RULES OF THE MISSISSIPPI SENATE AND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES BY CREATING NEW JOINT RULE 9B TO ALLOW LEGISLATORS TO COSPONSOR BILLS, JOINT RESOLUTIONS AND CONCURRENT RESOLUTIONS ORIGINATING IN THE OTHER HOUSE OF THE LEGISLATURE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MISSISSIPPI STATE SENATE, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING THEREIN, That the Joint Rules of the Mississippi State Senate and House of Representatives are amended by inserting the following new Joint Rule No. 9B to read as follows:
9B. After a bill, joint resolution or concurrent resolution has been transmitted to the house in which it did not originate, and upon passage, any member of the non-originating house may be added to the bill, joint resolution or concurrent resolution as a cosponsor.
