A RESOLUTION ADOPTING SENATE RULE 28A TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF RESOLUTION PRESENTATIONS WHICH A SENATOR MAY MAKE ON THE FLOOR OF THE SENATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That Senate Rule 28A is hereby adopted to read as follows:
28A. Without objection, visitors may be allowed by the Sergeant at Arms on the floor of the Senate for the presentation of Senate Resolutions or Senate Concurrent Resolutions. Such presentations may only be made by the primary author of a resolution and shall be limited to ten (10) minutes in duration. No Senator may make more than one (1) such presentation of a resolution each year. The Rules Committee may make exceptions to this rule in extraordinary circumstances.
