A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT to remove certain described property from the corporate limits of the town of shallotte.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. The following described property is removed from the corporate limits of the Town of Shallotte:
Being all of Parcel C‑3, containing 11.90 acres, more or less, as more fully described in a survey plat dated April 30, 2013, entitled "Survey for Security Savings & Loan" prepared by Barry L. Barber, P.L.S., of Bobby M. Long & Associates, and recorded in Map Cabinet 78 at Page 47 in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Brunswick County, North Carolina, to which plat reference is made and which is incorporated herein for greater certainty of description of said property. Together with and subject to a non‑exclusive right‑of‑way and easement for purposes of ingress, egress, and regress and the installation and maintenance of utility services over, within, along, and upon that area designated as "40' Driveway Access & Utility Easement" on said plat which shall be appurtenant to and shall run with the titles of tracts C‑3 and C‑4 as more fully described in Map Cabinet 78 at Page 27, Brunswick County Registry.
SECTION 2. This act has no effect upon the validity of any liens of the Town of Shallotte for ad valorem taxes or special assessments outstanding before the effective date of this act. Such liens may be collected or foreclosed upon after the effective date of this act as though the property described in Section 1 of this act were still within the corporate limits of the Town of Shallotte.
SECTION 3. This act becomes effective June 30, 2015.
