A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT to appropriate funds to the community college system to train future health care professionals to meet north carolina's health care needs.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Community Colleges System Office the sum of twenty million dollars ($20,000,000) for the 2017‑2018 fiscal year and the sum of twenty‑seven million dollars ($27,000,000) for the 2018‑2019 fiscal year. The funds shall be used to increase the number of students entering into and graduating from health care certificate and health care degree programs throughout the State.
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2017.
