Short Title: Peletier Annexation.		(Local)

A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT To annex a described area to the town of peletier.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1. The corporate limits of the Town of Peletier are increased by adding the following described area:

All of that certain tract or parcel of land situated in the county of Carteret and more particularly described as follows:

In the Township of White Oak beginning at an iron pipe in the eastern right-of-way line of NC Highway 58, said iron pipe being located N 7‑13‑36 W 209.79 feet from the intersection of the northern right‑of‑way line of State Road 1111 and the eastern right-of-way line of NC Highway 58; thence from said beginning point S 88‑15‑42 E 304.52 feet to an iron pipe in the western right‑of‑way line of SR 1111; thence with the western right-of-way line of SR 1111 N 19‑43‑04 W 464.17 feet to a point; thence continuing with the western right-of-way line of SR 1111 N 18‑75‑17 W 152.62 feet to an iron pipe; thence N 87‑16‑51 W 261.48 feet to an iron pipe; thence N 87‑16‑51 W 261.48 feet to an iron pipe in the eastern right-of-way line of NC Highway 58; thence S 19‑44‑11 E 175.26 feet to a point; thence with the eastern right-of-way line of NC Highway 58, S 16‑07‑21 E 188.94 feet to a point; thence continuing with the eastern right-of-way line of NC Highway 58, S 11‑39‑11 E 243.72 feet to the existing iron rod and place of beginning and containing 3.59 acres.

SECTION 2. This act is effective only if AN ACT TO REMOVE A DESCRIBED AREA FROM THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF CAPE CARTERET becomes law, in which case it becomes effective at the same time as that act.
