HOUSE BILL 1195
AN ACT relative to membership of the joint legislative historical committee.

This bill permits members of the joint legislative historical committee to appoint designees to the committee.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve
AN ACT relative to membership of the joint legislative historical committee.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
53:1 Joint Legislative Historical Committee; Membership. RSA 17-I:1 is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:
17-I:1 Committee Established. There is hereby established a joint legislative historical committee. The committee shall consist of:
I. The senate president, or designee.
II. One member of the senate, appointed by the senate president.
III. The speaker of the house of representatives, or designee.
IV. One member of the house of representatives, appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives.
V. The majority leaders of the house of representatives and the senate, or their designees.
VI. The minority leaders of the house of representatives and the senate, or their designees.
53:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
