STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen
AN ACT authorizing municipalities to use form-based codes as an alternative zoning regulation.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Subparagraph; Innovative Land Use Controls; Form-Based Code. Amend RSA 674:21, I by inserting after subparagraph (o) the following new subparagraph:
(p) Form-based code.
2 New Subparagraph; Innovative Land Use Controls; Definitions; Form-Based Code. Amend RSA 674:21, IV by inserting after subparagraph (c) the following new subparagraph:
(d) "Form-based code" means a land development regulation that fosters predictable results and a high-quality public realm by using physical form, rather than separation of uses, as the organizing principle for the code.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
