AN ACT relative to state employee reimbursement for use of a personal vehicle.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eleven
AN ACT relative to state employee reimbursement for use of a personal vehicle.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Fleet Efficiency and Cost Reduction; State Employee Use of Personal Vehicles. Amend RSA 21-I by inserting after section 19-i the following new section:
21-I:19-j State Employee Use of Personal Vehicle; Mileage Reimbursement. No agency shall reimburse an employee for more than 1000 miles of travel in the employee’s personal vehicle in any one calendar month without the approval of the vehicle utilization committee established in RSA 21-I:19-h, VII. The committee, to better manage employee travel expenses, may require approval of lower levels of employment-related travel.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
