AN ACT prohibiting certain state employees from wearing fragrances.

This bill prohibits state employees who work with the public from wearing fragrances or using scented products during regular business hours.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve
AN ACT prohibiting certain state employees from wearing fragrances.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 State Employees. Amend the chapter heading preceding RSA 98-F:1 to read as follows:
STATE [EMPLOYEE APPEARANCES BEFORE THE LEGISLATURE] EMPLOYEES
2 New Section; Certain State Employees Prohibited from Wearing Fragrances. Amend RSA 98-F by inserting after section 1 the following new section:
98-F:2 Certain State Employees Prohibited From Wearing Fragrances. State employees who work with the public shall not wear fragrances or use scented products during regular business hours.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
