STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fifteen
AN ACT relative to retention requirements for certain motor vehicle records.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
134:1 Motor Vehicle Records and Certification. Amend RSA 260:14, VIII-a(b) to read as follows:
(b) No person who has been convicted of DWI, aggravated DWI, or a reasonably equivalent offense under the laws of another state, shall be entitled to apply for or to receive a waiver from the department of safety relative to retention of the person’s driver’s license image, likeness, or photograph until at least [7] 10 years after the date of the conviction. Such image, likeness, or photograph shall be retained in the records of the department of safety.
134:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2016.
