AN ACT making a technical correction relative to fees for chiropractors and relative to the licensure of audiologists.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fifteen

AN ACT making a technical correction relative to fees for chiropractors and relative to the licensure of audiologists.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

43:1 New Section; Chiropractor Licenses. Amend RSA 316-A by inserting after section 14 the following new sections:

316-A:14-a Licenses and Certificates. Each applicant who qualifies under this chapter and who attains a minimum grade of 70 percent upon the examination given under RSA 316-A:13, I shall receive a license from the board as a chiropractor permitted to practice in New Hampshire. The fee for an initial license and for a license renewal shall be $300. The initial license and renewal licenses shall be valid for the terms established under RSA 316-A:19.

316-A:14-b License Fees. Each applicant who qualifies under this chapter shall pay a fee for an initial license and for a license renewal of $300. The initial license and license renewals shall be valid for the terms established under RSA 316-A:19.

43:2 Audiology Licensure Required; License Renewal. Amend RSA 137-F:11, II to read as follows:

II. The board shall license each applicant who satisfies the requirements of this chapter. Upon payment of a $300 license fee, the board shall issue to such person a certificate of licensure which shall be evidence of the right to practice as an audiologist. [The license shall be valid for 2 years from the date of issuance.] The initial license shall be valid for at least 2 years and expire on June 30. Renewals shall be valid for 2 years from the date of renewal.

43:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2015.
