AN ACT relative to insurance payments for health care providers.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve

AN ACT relative to insurance payments for health care providers.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Prompt Payment; Individual; Reimbursement for Health Care Providers. Amend RSA 415:6-h by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraph:

VI. Health care providers may bill for and receive direct reimbursement for their services.

2 New Paragraph; Prompt Payment; Group: Reimbursement for Health Care Providers. Amend RSA 415:18-k by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraph:

VI. Health care providers may bill for and receive direct reimbursement for their services.

3 New Paragraph; Prompt Payment; Health Service Corporations; Reimbursement for Health Care Providers. Amend RSA 420-A:17-d by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraph:

VI. Health care providers may bill for and receive direct reimbursement for their services.

4 New Paragraph; New Paragraph; Prompt Payment; Managed Care; Reimbursement for Health Care Providers. Amend RSA 420-J:8-a by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraph:

VI. Health care providers may bill for and receive direct reimbursement for their services.

5 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
