SYNOPSIS
Establishes the California fine particle standard as State standard.

An Act establishing certain air pollution standards and supplementing chapter 2C of Title 26 of the Revised Statutes.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. The standard for fine particles in the State shall be the same as the standard for fine particles set by the California Air Resources Board for the state of California. The Department of Environmental Protection may adopt, pursuant to the "Administrative Procedure Act," P.L.1968, c.410 (C.52:14B-1 et seq.), any rules and regulations necessary for compliance with this act.
2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill establishes a fine particle standard for the State that is the same as the fine particle standard set for California by the California Air Resources Board, and permits the Department of Environmental Protection to adopt any rules and regulations necessary to comply.
