SYNOPSIS
Repeals grandparents visitation statute.

An Act concerning grandparent's visitation and repealing P.L.1971, c.420.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. Section 1 of P.L.1971, c.420, s.1 (C.9:2-7.1) is repealed.
2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill would repeal N.J.S.A.9:2-7.1 which allows a sibling or grandparent of a minor child to make an application in Superior Court for visitation rights.
