An Act concerning the travel expenses of a board of education and supplementing chapter 12 of Title 18A of the New Jersey Statutes.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any law, rule or regulation to contrary, the total annual out-of-state travel expenses of a board of education shall not exceed $3,000, unless an expenditure in excess of this amount is approved by the Commissioner of Education.
2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill provides that the total annual out-of-state travel expenses of a board of education shall not exceed $3,000, unless an expenditure in excess of this amount is approved by the Commissioner of Education.
