SYNOPSIS
Requires Department of Health to provide information to Statewide 2-1-1 telephone system regarding the location of safe disposal sites for hypodermic syringes and needles and prescription drugs.

An Act concerning hypodermic syringes and needles and prescription drugs and medication, and supplementing Title 45 of the Revised Statutes.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. The Department of Health shall periodically provide the Statewide 2-1-1 telephone system with information regarding the location of safe disposal sites for hypodermic syringes and needles and prescription drugs and medication for dissemination to customers of the Statewide 2-1-1 telephone system upon customers' request.
2. This act shall take effect 180 days after the date of enactment.
STATEMENT
This bill requires the Department of Health to periodically provide the Statewide 2-1-1 telephone system with information regarding the location of safe disposal sites for hypodermic syringes and needles and prescription drugs and medication for dissemination to customers of the Statewide 2-1-1 telephone system upon customers' requests.
