SYNOPSIS
Makes supplemental appropriation of $75,000 to Human Trafficking Survivor's Assistance Fund.

A Supplement to the annual appropriations act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, P.L.2024, c.22.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2024, c.22, the annual appropriations act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, there is appropriated from the General Fund the following amount for the purpose specified:

19 Central Planning, Direction and Management
1000 Office of the Attorney General
DIRECT STATE SERVICES
99-1000 Office of the Attorney General ................................ $75,000

2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill appropriates $75,000 to the Division of Criminal Justice in the Department of Law and Public Safety to fund the Human Trafficking Survivor's Assistance Fund and effectuate the proposes set forth when the fund was established.
The "Human Trafficking Survivor's Assistance Fund" is a non-lapsing, dedicated fund in the General Fund, which is administered by the Attorney General. All monies deposited in the fund is required to be used for the provision of services to victims of human trafficking, to promote awareness of human trafficking, and the development, maintenance, revision, and distribution of training course and other educational materials, and the operation of educational or training programs, in accordance with sections 11 and 19 of P.L. 2013, c. 51 (C.2C:34-1.2 and C.2C:13-12).
