SYNOPSIS

     Makes supplemental appropriation of $2,200,000 to Maritime Industry Fund in Office of Maritime Resources in DOT.

A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved June 28, 2013 (P.L.2013, c.77).

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.  In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2013, c.77, there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

 

78 DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

60 Transportation Programs

64 Regulation and General Management

GRANTS-IN-AID

05-6070 Multimodal Services  ......................................................

The amount hereinabove appropriated shall be used to fund the IBOAT NJ grant program consistent with section 8 of P.L.2001, c.429 (C.27:1A-82).

 

     2.  This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill appropriates $2.2 million to the Maritime Industry Fund (fund) to be used to fund the IBOAT NJ program.  This amount reflects monies that were directed from the fund to the Maintenance and Operations account of the Department of Transportation.
