SYNOPSIS
Waives Civil Service Commission examination application fees for period of three years.

An Act requiring the Civil Service Commission to waive examination application fees.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. The Civil Service Commission shall waive civil service application fees for open competitive and promotional examinations for a period of three years.
Monies from the General Fund shall be appropriated to the Civil Service Commission in an amount equal to the receipts that would have been derived from application fees and required to be appropriated to the commission pursuant to section 1 of P.L.1992, c.197 (C.11A:4-1.1).
2. This act shall take effect on the first day of the third month following enactment and shall expire three years thereafter.
STATEMENT
The bill requires the Civil Service Commission to waive application fees for open competitive and promotional examinations for a period of three years. Monies from the State General Fund will be appropriated to the Civil Service Commission in an amount equal to the fees that would have been received and appropriate to the Civil Service Commission as pursuant to law.
