An Act concerning the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and repealing section 1 of P.L.1991, c.474.

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.  Section 1 of P.L.1991, c.474 (C.27:23-23.8) is repealed.

 

     2.  This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill repeals section 1 of P.L.1991, c.474 (C.27:23-23.8) which authorized the New Jersey Turnpike Authority to acquire, construct, maintain, repair and operate a project addition and extension to the New Jersey Turnpike consisting of a high speed limited-access superhighway, referred to as the Route 92 Freeway extension, connecting the New Jersey Turnpike to U.S. Route 1 or U.S. Route 27 through Middlesex County.
