FARRELL -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to the application of pesticides to drinking water THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Section 33-1301 of the environmental conservation law is 2 amended by adding a new subdivision 12 to read as follows: 3 12. FOR ANY PERSON TO APPLY ANY PESTICIDE TO A WATER BODY WITH A WATER 4 SUPPLY INTAKE THAT IS USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING WATER FOR HUMAN 5 CONSUMPTION, EXCEPT FOR PESTICIDES USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DRINKING 6 WATER DISINFECTION. 7 S 2.
