JENNE, TITONE -- read once and referred to the Committee on Health -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee -- again reported from said committee with amendments, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to including certain facilities in the definition of originating site The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Subdivision 3 of section 2999-cc of the public health law, 2 as amended by chapter 167 of the laws of 2015, is amended to read as 3 follows: 4 3. "Originating site" means a site at which a patient is located at 5 the time health care services are delivered to him or her by means of 6 telehealth. Originating sites shall be limited to facilities licensed 7 under articles twenty-eight and forty of this chapter, facilities as 8 defined in subdivision six of section 1.03 of the mental hygiene law, 9 private physician's or dentist's offices located within the state of New 10 York, any type of adult care facility licensed under title two of arti- 11 cle seven of the social services law, and, when a patient is receiving 12 health care services by means of remote patient monitoring, the 13 patient's place of residence located within the state of New York or 14 other temporary location located within or outside the state of New 15 York. 16 § 2.
