         Committee on Transportation
       AN ACT to direct the department of transportation to retain jurisdiction
         over and continue to maintain the state route 219 bridge  over  Catta-
         raugus Creek/Zoar Valley, in the counties of Cattaraugus and Erie
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law, rule or regulation to
    2  the contrary, the department of transportation is hereby authorized  and
    3  directed  to  retain  jurisdiction  over  and the responsibility for the
    4  maintenance of the state route two hundred nineteen bridge (bridge iden-
    5  tification number  1041590)  that  crosses  the  Cattaraugus  Creek/Zoar
    6  Valley in the counties of Cattaraugus and Erie.
    7    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
