         once and referred to the Committee on Children and Families
       AN  ACT requiring the office of children and family services to submit a
         report on manageable workloads for adult protective services workers
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. The office of children and family services shall review and
    2  recommend  manageable workloads for adult protective services workers in
    3  order to allow sufficient time for each worker to meet all  requirements
    4  and  allow  for  the comprehensive assessment of services for adults and
    5  families.
    6    A full report and recommendations on manageable  workloads  for  adult
    7  protective  services  workers  shall  be  submitted to the governor, the
    8  temporary president of the senate, the speaker of the assembly  and  the
    9  chairs  of  the  senate  committees  on social services and children and
   10  families and the chair of the assembly committee on children  and  fami-
   11  lies by December 1, 2014.
   12    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
