WOERNER -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Agriculture AN ACT to amend the agriculture and markets law, in relation to eligi- bility for the appropriation of moneys for the promotion of agricul- ture and domestic arts The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subdivision 2 of section 286 of the agri- 2 culture and markets law, as amended by chapter 600 of the laws of 2019, 3 is amended to read as follows: 4 (a) To qualify for premium reimbursement under this section, agricul- 5 tural and horticultural corporations, the county extension service asso- 6 ciation in the county of Orange, the American institute in the city of 7 New York, the Goshen Historic Track, Inc. and the Genesee Valley Breed- 8 ers' Association, Inc. must have held, with the approval of the commis- 9 sioner, an annual fair or exposition for the promotion of agriculture 10 and domestic arts during the previous calendar year, paid at least 11 [five] two thousand five hundred dollars in actual premiums and filed an 12 annual report as required in paragraph (c) of this subdivision. 13 § 2.
