       AN ACT to amend the economic development law, in relation  to  reporting
         requirements of the division of minority and women's business develop-
         ment
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Section 118 of the economic development law is  amended  by
    2  adding a new subdivision 11 to read as follows:
    3    11. REPORT ON AN ANNUAL BASIS TO THE GOVERNOR, THE TEMPORARY PRESIDENT
    4  OF THE SENATE, AND THE SPEAKER OF THE ASSEMBLY THE NUMBER AND PERCENTAGE
    5  OF  MINORITY  AND  WOMEN-OWNED  BUSINESS ENTERPRISES EMPLOYED WITHIN THE
    6  STATE AND THE NUMBER AND PERCENTAGE RECEIVING EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS WITH-
    7  IN THE STATE AND STATE  CONTRACTS  PURSUANT  TO  SECTION  THREE  HUNDRED
    8  TWELVE  OF  THE  EXECUTIVE  LAW.  THIS REPORTING REQUIREMENT SHALL BE IN
    9  ADDITION TO THE ADVISORY REQUIREMENTS CONFERRED UPON THE ADVISORY  BOARD
   10  SET FORTH IN SUBDIVISION SIX OF SECTION ONE HUNDRED TWENTY OF THIS ARTI-
   11  CLE.
   12    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
