       AN ACT to amend the election law, in relation to supplies to be provided
         at polling sites by the board of elections
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  The election law is amended by adding a new section 8-108
    2  to read as follows:
    3    S 8-108. SUPPLIES REQUIREMENT. EACH COUNTY BOARD  OF  ELECTIONS  SHALL
    4  SUPPLY  EACH POLLING SITE WITH AN ADEQUATE NUMBER OF PERMANENT INK WRIT-
    5  ING IMPLEMENTS SUITABLE FOR MARKING BALLOTS.
    6    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
