PALMESANO, THIELE -- read once and referred to the Committee on Governmental Operations AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to enacting the "online digital paperwork reduction act" The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Short title. This act shall be known and may be cited as 2 the "online digital paperwork reduction act". 3 § 2. The executive law is amended by adding a new section 170-c to 4 read as follows: 5 § 170-c. Availability of documents. Every state agency in the state 6 shall make its annual reports and all other public documents available 7 in a digital format on its website in a manner that allows such reports 8 and documents to be printed. As used in this section, the term "state 9 agency" shall mean any department, board, bureau, commission, division, 10 office, council, committee or office of the state, a public benefit 11 corporation or public authority. 12 § 3.
